Late foul gives Swindon Shock National team a win over Bristol Storm to open the season. Swindon Shock may have led the majority of the game but needed to late free throws from Lee Taylor to send the game into overtime. Once in overtime Shock’s fate looked all but sealed down, but a desperation shot followed by a foul call with no time left sent Lee Taylor to the free thrown line with 3 shots. Taylor sank the first shot to tie the game which gave Shock new life. After missing the second Taylor gathered his composer and sank the second shot to net Swindon Shock the victory. Shock will look to defend their home court this Saturday at 4pm vs Cardiff Capitals in the National Shield playoff game. See you all at Swindon Academy gates open at 3pm.
