Shock off to a slow start

After winning the season opener in local league against last years runners up Empees, Shock fall to an overtime loss against rivals Lockleaze Renegades.  National league also see Shock fall out of the National Shield and Trophy.  “Its a bit disappointing to see our club in this situation as we have put a lot of time into summer training” said coach David Colclough.  As coaches we have to be willing to prepare, and as players they have to treat the game like a business and be prepared.  Those are the words of my old high school coach from over 20 years ago  and they still ring true.

Coach Alex James also sees a slight improvement from Swindon Shock especially the bench play which has been outstandingly led by Mariusz Podgorski, Alistair Tilney, Mindaugus Dulskas, & Dan Chambers.  Once we get things rolling and guys play their roles we are going to be a tough team to beat.  I suppose the question is from top to bottom, “Do we have a willingness to prepare”
