Bright Future for Shock Teams

While the Shock Men’s first team continue to show their strength to Division 2 teams.  It appears the Shock Development team has also found their footing winning their second straight game.  This week Shock Men’s put a hurting on Stroud 132 to 26 using only seven players.  Nic Hypolite and Arturas Taucenskas each scored 40 While Tyrone Small 20 Maric Baranovic, 13 and Chris Neister 10 put 5 of the 7 players in double digit figures.  Shock Development have also had 2 impressive wins over Nailsea, and Totterdown.  Both games led by MVP Ben White Sharpe shooter Egidijus Jakimavicius & defensive force Romas Taucenskas.  The womens team also claim their second win of the Season over UWIC, and look to have a full 12 player squad for the first time.

Swindon Shock Wheel Chair Club have also been allocated to the South West of England League and will look to play their games in London and Surrey as early as this December.  Also look out for Swindon Shock G-Unit.  A newly developed team led by Asim Thapa that will be looking to play in WEBBA next year but will play at the development level starting soon.
