It has been a long gruelling season for Swindon Shock 22 games at the National level saw some fantastic growth that has propelled Swindon from the bottom half of the league last year to the upper tier in 2014.  Shock wheel chair have also had some knocks and bruises whilst moving from development league to league play.  Shock Division one Women’s team saw more wins in the 2013/2014 season then it has in any other year. Whilst Shock Division 2 withstood injury and time constraints to finish in the middle of a packed Division 2 race.

Then there is Shock Division one with 28 games on the schedule & soared to an undefeated regular season and Clinching a Division 1 title from the CLUTCHES of Empees.  Shock would also go on to defeat a heavy hearted and deplete Lockleaze Renegades team 81-56 in the Mens Cup final.

The biggest challenge Shock had to encounter all season was the Mens Trophy were the only blemishes were losses to fellow Wiltshire teams Swindon Cavaliers and Devises Wizards when they couldn’t make up point spreads of 36, and 19.  However crushing defeats to Wiltshire Wolves 148-119 making up 63pts and a 152-85 making up 42 points over Trowbridge B got Shock into the playoffs.

Shock would face Division 3 Nailsea whom carried a 70 point lead.  With only 7 players in attendance David Colclough (25), MVP Mantas Kmita (21) Cup MVP Lee Hobbis (20), MFPG-Antonio Wilburn (14) the monster in the middle Matt Ford (13) Marek the sniper Baranovic (10) and big rebounding clutch defender who did not foul out Rafal Ciechacki (6) to give Shock a 109-101 victory sweeping Bristol teams Locally and Nationally for the season as well as being the first team in WEBBA history to claim all 3 titles.
